Program Interface
The video goes through the key parts of the program interface and shows how to use them.
Here is a short summary:
- Listener – Record audio or MIDI and manage your snippets. Choose what to analyze and turn into a song
- Song Window – View and edit your score. Drag notes, change time and key signatures, adjust notes, and arrange your music
- Left Sidebar – Access your open songs, listener snippets, and cloud-saved projects
- Actions Panel – Shows properties and contextual options for the selected object in the score
- Help Box – Gives suggestions and tips based on what you have selected
- Toolbar – Playback controls, editing tools, and score view options
First Steps
- Import or record a musical idea (or use one of the example files)
- Click Analyze to turn it into a score
- Try editing, like dragging a note
- Change tempo, time signature, and transpose
- Save your first song!
